Coleman Filter Company string wound filters can be found in full coking refineries that process crude oil. The refineries typically produce clean transportation products, such as gasoline, diesel fuels and propane.

Our string wound depth cartridge filters used in these operations remove solids and other contaminants to minimize maintenance downtime, lower operating costs and extend the life of capital equipment.

In higher temperature processes we recommend cartridges manufactured with a stainless steel core with Fiberglass media. However, many applications can leverage our Natural Cotton filters on a Tin core.
